Fantasy Homes?

Newham Council have been very reticent to provide an actual number of new homes which have received planning permission. Possibly it is because there are an embarrassingly small number of council homes and an equally small number of private homes, which means that Mayor Fiaz will miss both the London Mayor’s target for new homes and her own promised target of 1000 council homes, despite having the largest allocation of central government grants in London. 

But well done for negotiating that extra money. What, you didn’t? It was negotiated under Wales? Oh no. So, your promise to build 1000 new council homes was simply lifted from the figures Wales agreed to?

But you do still have to build them, right?
