All Politics is Personal!

In an unusual twist, we are beginning to see individual Labour Party candidates targeted for particular actions. Time will tell whether this will have an effect or whether it is just background noise.

In Beckton, cabinet member James Asser is the target of a campaign to have him ousted. Ostensibly because of his stance on the City Farm, (he favours closing it to save money), but this came on the back of massive hikes in the cost of car parking and what appears to be a cynical attempt to squeeze money out of motorists on Browning Road,

We have highlighted Pushpa’s comments before. Interestingly, whilst Omna Gangadharan was unceremoniously ditched, for ostensibly the same reason, Pushpa remains. It seems that there are some residents who are none to happy with this. She may yet be saved by a coalition of militant vegetarians in Plashet ward.

Meanwhile, Comrade Mirza has published a supportive tweet from some of his own followers.
