Fiaz Spends “How Much?” on Bid to become Borough of Culture.Fiaz Cuts £250,000 from “Renowned Theatre Royal East”.

There has got to be just the smallest sense of irony in the fact that Fiaz and Labour are slashing the grant to The Theatre Royal at the same time as they are spending more than that in seeking to become the Borough of Culture.

One would hope that Labour councillors are just a little embarrassed by the contradiction.

We suspect that there won’t be quite as many tweets like these from now on.
