Has Newham Council Become a Laughing Stock?

Newham Council appears to have become the subject of news comment, for all the wrong reasons.

Readers will note the article published on this site, noting how Cllr Danny Keeling walked out of a council meeting because he was mis-gendered. It appears that GB News have also noticed this. The council has become something of a laughing stock because a councillor “spat his dummy out and flounced out of a meeting”.

Frankly, some of us had hoped for rather more when residents in Stratford elected the only opposition on the council.
