Here’s a Candidate from Left Field

Not yet a councillor and definitely the youngest contender, we hear that Zain Miah is throwing his hat into the ring as a mayoral contender. He’s only been active for around four years, but in that time has managed to recruit sufficient members of his local mosque to take over his LP branch/ward and says that he is the Interim Secretary of the (suspended) West Ham CLP.

No idea what his programme for government would be, but he has thrown himself into a variety of campaigns and causes. First item on the new mayoral agenda, Twinning Newham with Gaza? 

Definitely no antisemitic trends here…
