New CEO Announced

Having worked her way around several London councils, with a brief sojourn in Bristol where she cost the local council tax payers some £56,000 for three-months’ work, Abi Gbago is set to join Newham in the Autumn.

Has she had a chance to have a coffee and a conversation with Newham’s last permanent CEO, Althea Loderick? We suspect not. Perhaps someone should suggest that she does, before she regrets her move. And maybe she should have a chat to the Head of Resources, because, despite the denials at council, the rumours persist that Newham is struggling to maintain that it is a ‘going-concern’.
