Newham and the Olympic Legacy

With the Paris Olympics about to start, Eddie Nestor of Radio London reflected on the Olympic Legacy to London, and Newham in particular.

Naturally, he sought the views of a senior Newham politician. For reasons best known to himself, they did not choose to interview Mayor Fiaz. Instead, he called in former mayor, Sir Robin Wales.

A link to the interview is here, it’s about 10 minutes, (start at 1hr 25 min). Wales reflects on the physical and social legacy to Newham and Stratford specifically of the events 12 years ago.
