An Endemic Culture of Antisemitism
It’s got to be bad, when even the Tory satirists at Guido Fawkes are taking pot shots.
Mind you, the present incumbent is making it fairly easy for them. We offer two possible treasons.
Cock-Up: Her natural reluctance to make decisions coupled with her unwillingness to make enemies in the selectorate has led to dithering and a total lack of leadership on the issue.
Conspiracy: She is indebted to groups and individuals in the wider Muslim community and has been warned off or she knows well enough to steer clear, to avoid offending friends of friends.
Forced to make a judgement, we’d probably go with the former, though as more intelligence comes our way, we are not writing off the latter.
