The Next Mayor has been SELECTED, at least according to the Labour Party

We know that Newham is effectively a one-party state, but surely this missive from the London Labour Party to its members must be a little presumptuous.

If the subtlety is lost on you, the Labour Party have announced that the selection of the mayor has been made.

A touch of hubris perhaps?

They could at least have observed the niceties of electoral politics and announced the selection of their candidate. Give the electorate the illusion of making a choice.
