An Honorable Mention amongst Landlords for Labour

It does seem that Cllr Thelma Odoi has not fully completed her disclosure to the monitoring officer. Her address is withheld, which seems to be the common practice now. However, we understand her to be a tenant of a council property. She may of course have purchased this.

Either way, it makes the following entry on the register at Companies House a little puzzling.

We see that the company is currently dormant, so she is only an honorary member of Landlords for Labour, but perhaps she should be advised to bring her declaration of interests up to date.

If the information is correct, and she is a council tenant then buying and selling real estate might be more than a breach of an administrative protocol. We are currently unable to verify whether she is the owner or a private tenant or a council tenant, though her entry on the register does not describe her as the owner of her residence.

We would be interested to see what the Chief Whip discovers.
