Newham Oxbridge Admissions Continue to Impress

The Spectator provided a list of admission numbers to Oxbridge Colleges for the top 80 schools in the country. Three of those 80 are in Newham. There is no other borough in the country that has results that compare with Newham.

One hundred and thirteen Newham young people have received offers from either Oxford or Cambridge. The LoA has had more offers in one year than all of the Newham schools in the decade 1986-1995. And Brampton and the Collegiate have far higher numbers.

We are still waiting to hear the mayor offer her congratulations to both students and staff.
