Fighting the Patriarchy

Newham Labour have announced their candidates for three of the four upcoming byelections. You’ll be glad to hear that they are all “amazing”, though quite in what way they are amazing is yet to be revealed. 

It seems that the days are gone when Labour couldn’t find enough women to stand for election in Newham.

Two men resign and one woman. Three women replace them. Smash the patriarchy!
