Newham London Strikes Blow Against Language Tyranny

The London Borough of Newham has discarded the self-imposed shackles of politically correct language. Councillors Vaughan and Patel, both biologically male, have apparently been elected as Chairman and Vice-Chairman respectively. Not Chairs; not Chairpersons; but ChairMEN.

Well done to LB Newham for having the bravery to swim against the tide.

We expect to see an announcement soon that somebody in the Communications Department has been sacked!
