Strange Bedfellows
The ability to look both ways at once is a difficult art, but one that seems to have been mastered by Councillor Terence Paul.
The staunchly anti-Islamist and pro-Israel councillor has been caught out playing off both sides (again?).
While taking Robin Wales’ ‘shilling’ (to the tune of £45,000pa) Councillor Paul was also supporting the Fiaz selection campaign.
Strangely, the anti-Islamist councillor was also financing the Islamist NPA in their campaign to deselect Wales.
Mind you, as a strategy it seems to have worked. Councillor Paul is now earning £45,000pa as the cabinet member responsible for overseeing the collapse of the council’s finances.
As we see in the Facebook post, he was not alone. That other well known ‘moderate’ and Fiaz loyalist, Councillor Alan Griffiths was equally happy to relegate his political principles behind his antipathy to Wales. Griffiths, who has the look of an aging schoolboy threw his weight behind the Momentum led campaign.
Alas, despite his support, there were no great rewards for ‘school-boy’ Griffiths. It seems that Fiaz sees only limited value in school-boys’ contribution.
Fiaz, Paul and Griffiths clearly share the responsibility for the Islamification of the Labour Party in Newham and for its alarming lurch towards ‘homophobia’, ‘racism’, and ‘misogyny’.
