Did He Jump or Was He Pushed 2?
It is evident that some Labour councillors are still unclear as to whether Cllr Gray jumped or was pushed. You’d have thought that the first Labour Group after the sacking of the Deputy Mayor would have been a place for some enquiry by councillors and the observers from the local CLPs
But not, it seems, in the new “open and transparent” climate. (“Open and transparent”, it has the same ring to it as “a kinder gentler politics”. A bit of political double-speak with an inverse connection to the truth.) In this open and transparent climate, the observers from West Ham CLP were excluded. Perhaps it’s just as well, they might have asked a question.
The members of the Labour Group were told that they were not allowed to discuss the issue and to reinforce this, London Region of the Labour Party sent down an officer to act as minder.
Labour is clearly sensitive about all incidents of antisemitism, especially those committed under the new regime.

JVL seems to be a small Trotskyist group. They should not be confused with the mainstream and much, much larger Jewish Labour Movement, nor for that matter do they have much to do with the Labour Party, despite the name; but if you want to read why the EHRC Report got it wrong, you can do so here.
Mr Bamforth seems to have adopted the Arabic name for martyr. Not altogether sure what that says about him. Probably not a closet Zionist.
